The INNO Group’s headquarters is also the main production site for Jenbacher gas engines. Over 2,000 people work at our 65,000 square-meter site in Jenbach, Tyrol. Our cutting-edge digital factory has more than 110 manufacturing stations and 350 individual machines. The factory has won several awards for its low carbon footprint as well as for sustainability and training. For more information about the site, check out the video below.

A green location.
Shaping the energy transition

Welcome to our INNIO 360 Energy Lab in Jenbach, where we demonstrate how the energy transition works – with a microgrid, photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery storage, Jenbacher combined heat and power (CHP), a small hydropower plant, a power-to-heat hot water storage system, and green hydrogen (from 2025) – all controlled by our myPlant digital platform.

TINEXT Cooperation.
Full hydropower by 2025

We are working closely with TINEXT, a subsidiary of Tiroler Wasserkraft AG (TIWAG), to supply our main facility in Jenbach with 100% green hydrogen by 2025. What’s more, the surplus energy is fed into the local electricity and district heating network. Other areas of application also are planned, so there’s more excitement to come …
